It uses a switchable magnetic base: set it on the cabinet wall and turn the dial on the base to On. The adjustable arm and jaws hold your blast gun and let you aim it down into the center of the TumbleBlast™ basket, so you can blast hands-free without drilling anything.
Many consumer blast cabinets use thin 18 to 22 gauge sheet metal, which doesn't give the magnet enough steel to grip. Place a steel backer plate at least ¼" thick and 6" × 6" inside the cabinet and mount the holder to that. Thick paint or foam behind the panel also weakens the grip, so bare steel works best.
