The SpindleStorm3™ mounts in any standard collet chuck or end mill holder with 16mm capacity, so it is compatible with Haas, Brother, Fanuc Robodrill, DMG Mori, Doosan, Hurco, Mazak, and any other vertical machining center that accepts a 16mm shank tool. Requirements are simple: a fully enclosed machine and a spindle capable of 2,000 to 10,000 RPM. It loads from the tool changer like any other tool and runs as a programmed step in your cycle, which makes it a natural fit for lights-out and robot-tended machining.

A CNC chip fan is a spindle-mounted fan that clears metal chips and coolant from parts, fixtures, and vises inside the machine.
